Swingin' SophistiCats, directed by John Reasoner, was formed in 2002. The 10 member band (tentet including nine instrumentalists and one vocalist), but with a huge sound - you would think you were hearing an 18-piece big band orchestra, features the musical talents of the best solo instrumentalists in S. California.

Known for its ability to swing hard and easy, and dedicated to the music of the swing era and beyond, the Ensemble has established an ever-growing following of dedicated dance lovers.

Specializing in the music of Glenn Miller,Count Basie, Arte Shaw and all of the greats from the era, Swingin' SophistiCats has garnered a reputation for lively, fun-filled performances that leave crowds cheering for more. Along with performing original sounding and modern arrangements of the hits from the glory days of swing, the band also performs songs
in a variety of musical dance styles to suit any occasion.
