SophistiCats can also perform as a Quintet and play a similar repertoire of jazz and swing standards. Great for listening or dancing, the quintet is a less expensive alternative to the full tentet without any sacrifice to entertainment value or artistic quality. It doesn't feature the big band-style arrangements of the Swing Band, but is more reminiscent of smaller swing combos and modern jazz groups.
The instrumentation is: tenor sax/clarinet, piano, bass, guitar and drums.

Swingin' SophistiCats will make every effort in making this special event a most memorable occassion. With sufficient notice, a special and personal dance arrangement could be written for the entire band to perform. We can play virtually any song in any style you or your guests request.
HOLIDAY MUSIC:
Swingin' SophistiCats "Swings into the Season" each year during Holiday Time. Christmas and holiday music along with standard swing and dance music is performed each year at private events and public sponsored ceremonies like Christmas Tree Lighting.
